Ten years later, Dubí, part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, was subordinate to Vienna, which brought customs problems. This resulted in the factory being transferred to the industrialist Bernard Bloch. In 1938, the factory was first taken over by the German Empire, and in 1945 by the Czech State.
In 1991, with the privatization process, the factory gained an independent identity under the name "Český porcelán akciová společnost Dubí". In 2009, it further enriched its artistic production by merging with Royal Dux, a company with a history dating back to 1853 and specializing in the production of figurative and decorative porcelain. Today, the Royal Dux brand has become a name appreciated worldwide for its elegant designs and superior quality.
